All About MINNIE (WILDFIRE MINNIE)

**RESERVED** This hound has been reserved for a potential new owner.

All about Minnie:
Minnie is a smaller female with a quiet, sensitive nature. She is easy to walk and doesn’t pull on the lead, but lacks confidence when out and about. Minnie just needs some more positive interactions and will need time to acclimatise herself to the outside world, without becoming overwhelmed.
She would make a great addition as a second (or third) greyhound to a household seeking to add to their existing pack, having been kennelled with a male previously.
On her first trip out of kennels, our volunteer commented:
“Minnie joined me at Haden Hill park today.  She lay on the back seat and sat up frequently to check where we were heading.
Minnie walked happily, checking out her surroundings and is not strong at all. She was unsure around other dogs, initially approaching happily, then backing away. However she showed no aggression and made no noise at all when she encountered other dogs.  She just needed re-direction and calmed when they were out of sight. She likes to check in with her handler with a firm touch of her head against their leg to seek reassurance.”
