Adorable April (Monkspath April) was returned to us due to a change in her original homer's circumstances. Having been in a home for a few months, April did not settle back into kennel life well and it was obvious after a couple of hours, that she would be much happier going to one of our fabulous foster families.
Volunteer Alan and his family were on site, walking our gorgeous greys and very quickly agreed to take her home, to see if she would fit into their already established pack. As with all Alan's beloved hounds, April soon got her paws under the table and bagged herself a place in their hearts.
Our foster families are such an essential part of our homing process, be it short or long term. Whilst on foster with Home Run Hounds, all food and vet costs are covered by us, via our fund raising activities. This has enabled April to find her Happy Ever After and After and we are so grateful to them, for loving her as much as we did when she was at kennels.
