All About SANKA (STRAIGHT FIRE)

Sanka is a big, handsome boy with an equally big personality, affectionate, cheerful and always ready to make a new friend. If you're looking for a greyhound who loves people, Sanka might just steal your heart.

On his recent trips out, Sanka has made it his mission to say hello to as many people as possible. At a local pub event, he happily went from person to person, leaning against them for fuss and melting plenty of hearts along the way. He's such a happy boy and always seems to have a smile on his face!

Despite his size, Sanka is lovely to walk. He doesn't pull and is generally very happy trotting along beside you, although he can be a little zig-zaggy when there's something interesting to investigate, or someone available for a cuddle!

He's also been very encouraging around other breeds of dog. On one outing he calmly passed a Dachshund, completely ignored a Labrador while his volunteer stopped for a chat, and showed only a little interest in a small off-lead dog. He's since encountered smaller dogs at an event without reacting. We'd still like to see more of him around other breeds in different environments before saying exactly how he would be living alongside them. He was also perfectly happy meeting a family with a toddler and calmly accepted some attention from the little boy.

He travelled really well once in the car. Getting in for his first trip required a little persuasion but by the return journey he'd clearly worked it out and jumped straight in himself.

He's also a bit of a foodie. We can comfidently say, Sanka loves a sausage!

More than anything, Sanka seems to be a wonderfully friendly, affectionate boy who wants to be part of whatever his humans are doing. He's easy company, loves a fuss and is an expert greyhound leaner.
