New arrival at our Broadmatsh Kennels, Morty went for a walk in Mary Stevens park this morning with another of our hounds. Our volunteer reported:

“He coped very well for his first trip out. Not surprisingly, he was a little unsure of everything, but behaved almost perfectly. He walked well on the lead, with no pulling and showed little reaction towards other dogs, unless they got very close.  He did get overexcited by one little Yorkie who squeaked a toy right in front of him, but this was understandable and he was still very manageable. A promising start for this quiet boy.”
