Adopt and home a Greyhound in the West Midlands

The lovely Swift has had glowing reviews from volunteers who have taken her out and about  and from her weekend foster carers.  

She's a relaxed, inquisitive dog who likes nothing more than being by your side. In fact, shes a little lap dog in a large dog body. She's not overly fussed by toys, preferring the attention of humans. She tries to climb in your lap and just wants lots of love and snuggles. Her enthusiasm for being pet may mean she could knock little humans over she loves everyone so much. 

She's come across birds, horses, other dogs, adults and noises from trains, children's football games and the military shooting ranges!  She showed she was aware of noises by pricking her ears up but no further reaction.  She stands patiently next to other dogs with no reaction.

The second thing she loves after being fussed is food. She's a real foodie. While you'll need to make sure your counter tops are clear, it does mean that she'll be easily trained with treats! 

Swift also attended one of our Lichfield walks where she described as "rock solid - nothing fazed her." 

She was a little star during her visit to a local pub where she was fussed by customers and enjoyed a drink of water. 

Our volunteer who took her out said, "she is AMAZING. We loved our time with her today." and her foster carer agrees, " Swift is a very sweet natured and loving. girl."
