Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

Georgia and Matt knew that they wanted a dog as soon as they moved in together.

They came to volunteer so they could learn all about greyhounds and quickly confirmed that this was the breed for them.

As house moves go, it dragged on a little and whilst waiting for their keys, Georgia and Matt liked a number of greys but they were snapped up and homed. They kept their hearts and minds open, knowing as soon as they were ready, the perfect hound would appear.

Finally they were in a position to adopt and fell in love with black beauty Abby, Magical Addison. Her kennel name was Addy but as we already have an Addy waiting for her forever home, we called her Abby to avoid confusion. The couple fostered her over the Christmas period and knew that they had found their girl with her roaching and making herself at home within hours!

Reverting to her name, Addy, Georgia and Matt came down to kennels to complete her adoption yesterday and also buy her a stylish new coat, jumper and collar.

As they start their new lives together, we know that Addy is going to live a very happy life with this lovely couple, we look forward to seeing them at events and at kennels. Addy has really landed on her lucky paws and we couldn’t be happier for all three of them.
