Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

Experienced dog people, John and Michael have been on the look out for a dog to join them in their retirement. Having owned and loved Weimaraners in the past, they knew they wanted a breed that would enjoy the slower life and decided that a greyhound would be just the ticket.

John was on Facebook when he spotted a post about our gentle giant, Blue. He knew instantly that their search was over. Friends that were keeping watch on socials also saw Blue and sent the post to John as they knew they were a perfect match! It was just meant to be.

After a successful meeting at kennels, the paperwork was signed and Blue was on his way to his new life in Devon. Blue is making himself at home and exploring his new surrounds. We know he’s really landed on his paws with John and Michael.

We look forward to the updates and all the volunteers wish Blue, John and Michael a long and happy retirement together.
