Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

HOGIE (EIRE HOGIE)

Read all about HOGIE (EIRE HOGIE)'s successful rehoming below.

HOGIE (EIRE HOGIE)'s story:

Zoe and Marc are experienced with sighthounds, having owned four greyhounds over the past 10 years. They were devastated when they lost their last greyhound, Tali, to osteosarcoma, aged just 5. As fate would have it, the couple ran into lead volunteer Nigel Anton, who was walking kennel hound, Hogie, in their local park. Nigel had handled Tali’s adoption and was very sorry to hear that he’d passed over the rainbow bridge so soon. However, Hogie took his chance to make a good first impression - using his waggy tail and greyhound lean to full effect. A few days later, Zoe was back in touch to arrange a family viewing. They looked at four different dogs, who ticked all their boxes. But first impressions count and Hogie was the lucky lad to be chosen. We know that Hogie is in safe hands with Zoe, Marc and their son Luke and what a positive way to begin 2025 for all the family!
