Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

The Butler family knew that it was time to open their hearts to another dog after Milo had passed over the rainbow bridge earlier this year.

They came to view our greyhounds and 2 potential greyhounds were chosen by this lovely family. After a walk round Chasewater to see the dogs outside of the kennels with one of our volunteers, Hope was the lucky hound to be chosen.

Hope is one of our shyer greys and the Butlers knew that she may take a little time to warm up to them but this did not faze them. Hope went home on our 2 week foster to adopt scheme and didn’t take long to show her cheeky side, obviously feeling very comfortable and loved in her new home.

The Butlers returned to complete the adoption papers for Hope with big smiles all round. Home Run Hounds wish Hope and her family the very best for a long and happy future and we look forward to seeing you on our Lichfield walks.
