Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

LADY (MILLROAD LADY)

Read all about LADY (MILLROAD LADY)'s successful rehoming below.

LADY (MILLROAD LADY)'s story:

During May, John and Margaret Ireson were caravanning with their Home Run Hounds Sponsor hound Ruby at Malvern. Keith and Kate were also on the site with their caravan. They noticed Ruby and took an interest in her as John walked her in his HRH jacket. Later, they asked John about adopting a greyhound.
John made arrangements for them to visit the kennels when he and Margaret were volunteering the following Friday.

After talking with John and being shown round the kennels, Keith and Kate fell in love with Lady, and she responded positively to their attention. They then experienced a nail-biting couple of days as Lady was scheduled to promote hounds at the Crick Boat Festival, before she could be reserved.
Reserved she was but by Keith and Kate and because they lived near to John and Margaret, John did the home visit check, accompanied by Margaret and Ruby who agreed to take Lady if an emergency ever arose.

Keith and Kate returned to the kennels a week later to spend more time with Lady getting to know her and John and Margaret came to kennels on her Adoption today to be part of this special homing.
Beautiful Lady has found her forever home with two amazing people.

Well done Margaret and John (right) and thank you Keith and Kate (left) for giving Lady the home she deserves
