LILY (LILY HALFWAY)'s story:
Happily Home Hound Lily
Beautiful girl Lily had a few viewings but didn’t really sell herself and other hounds were chosen instead until Katie came with brindle Mac to meet her. Katie’s beloved girl hound recently crossed the rainbow bridge and Mac needed a new sibling.
Katie instantly understood Lily and knew that there was an amazing personality in there, she just needed time. Mac liked her so the reservation paperwork was completed.
After a week in her new home, Katie has reported that
“She is doing amazing, her and Mac get on really well. She has quite a bit of anxiety which was expected, and we are giving her her space to decompress, but so far so good. She is sleeping through at night, toileting outside and walking perfectly. She reminds me so much of when I got my first girl - (who recently went over the bridge) - too good to be true as settling so well! I can also see what a sweet little girl she is going to be and can’t wait to see her personality come out. Today was the first time I saw her sleep deeply, with the rolled back twitching eyes, and as soon as she roaches I know she has relaxed and feels at home. Thank god she was overlooked by everyone else because of her aloofness as their loss is our gain”
Thank you Katie and Mac for seeing the potential in Lily we are so happy that you have found each other. All our dogs are so very different and we know that a perfect home is waiting for each and every one.
