OPAL (SKYS OPAL)'s story:
Awesome Opal had enjoyed a long term foster following her retirement from racing and at 6 years old, was totally ready to find her forever home. Carol & Phil had recently lost their beloved greys and had been looking at 2 of our other girls that were on a mission to find their families.
Opal - now Willow - began working her 'grey-dar' on this wonderful couple, spending time with them on walks, paddock & office association. Her expert 'leaning' and giving the look of love through her chocolate brown eyes won them over and her Foster to Adopt began.
Seasoned greyhound owners + a girl that had been in a loving foster = Happy Homing for Willow💖
In addition to this fantastic news, Carol & Phil have become friends of the kennels and have signed up as volunteers - welcome to the family both !
Willow is a regular at our kennels & walks and we couldn't be more happy for this lovely little lady🐾
