Sweep has now had a couple of trips out and about and has been a super star on his travels. After a recent trip out our volunteer reported that Sweep is a friendly, confident boy who will, hopefully, not have any trouble finding his forever home. He travelled well, went to the local park, where he was well-behaved with all the other dogs, then walked into town for a look around then went for a home visit where he was calm and had a little nap before heading back to the kennels for yet another snooze.
Sweep had a visit home with another volunteer who reported that “Sweep was lovely to have around, super friendly, loves a cuddle and interacts really nicely. Sweep also showed his playful side, having great fun throwing a toy around the living room”. Sweep will need some help learning that not all food is greyhound food, but we are sure he’ll soon get the hang of it!"
A busy weekend for Sweep also saw him attend the HRH walk at Baggeridge where he walked really nicely and wasn’t at all phased by the crowds (he was most miffed not to have any cake though!). He travelled really well in the car, lying down quietly on the backseat and snoozing all the way back to kennels.
A great start for Sweep who seems to be taking all the new experiences in his stride. If you think Sweep is the dog for you, please get in touch
