Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

ZOE (ROSSBROOK ZOE)

ZOE (ROSSBROOK ZOE)'s story:

Happy Homing Zoe
Our volunteers are always "on duty" promoting greyhounds as pets so when Margaret's cousin and her husband said they were looking to home a dog after recently losing their Labrador, Margaret and John "wondered" if they'd like to come visit some greyhounds at our Watford Gap Kennels.

Needless to say the visit went very well and Zoe travelled up North last Friday to live by the seaside.
She is doing very well, and is learning how to get up the stairs and in the car. She follows Glyns around, and has been out with John for walkies in the dunes.

Zoe’s behaviour was described as exemplary. She enjoys lots of fuss and playing in the garden on her own tossing a ball around.

The first night she thought Glyn's bed was her own but she learned she had her own bed nearby.
Zoe is doing really well. Having always had Labradors they are new to the breed (though John and Margaret's greyhound, sponsor Ruby has been a great ambassadog when they visit). They are absolutely delighted with her.

Thank you to John and Margaret for recruiting a new member to our greyhound family and to Glyns and John for giving Zoe a wonderful home
