Did you know?
At one time only noblemen were allowed to own a greyhound
Lovely Luna (Nineteen Baby) was spotted by her new forever family as a pal for their gorgeous girl Edith, as well as being a much loved family pet. Edith was a little unsure around dogs to begin with, but visits to our kennels soon had her confidence growing.
Luna had been fostered by our assistant trainer Jo, who had done a brilliant job of introducing her to home life and small children. Jo reported that Luna was so laid back and easy going, we were sure this would be the pawfect match. Roll on a few months later and Mum reports Luna and Edith are best buddies.
We were so lucky that they recently joined us for an awareness walk (we love to reconnect with our homed hounds) and they even accommodated one of our kennel males for a sleepover - which is such a valuable experience, as a short term foster tells us so much about how our adored adoptionees and how they will fit into a homed situation.
We're over the moon for Luna.
