Baggeridge Country Park Greyhound Walks

Join us for another fun group Greyhound walk!

Join our Greyhound Get Togethers on the FIRST SUNDAY of every month at Baggeridge Country Park.

This 152 acre site provides a rich and varied landscape for our walks.

Meet opposite the playground at 10:30 for an 11am start. We do 3 walks - a longer one of about an hour, a medium walk and a shorter version - so you are welcome to go as far as you wish.

Some of our gorgeous greys from the kennels often join us so it's a great opportunity to meet a greet a greyhound and find out more about them.

Come along and treat your gorgeous grey to a morning of socialisation & sniffs and yourself to the company of like-minded greyhound fanatics. See old friends and make some new ones and talk about all things greyhounds.

At the end of the walk we gather in the Lydiate Room for tea, coffee and cake, and of course sausages for the dogs. We have a monthly tombola, greyhound merchandise for sale and a photo booth for Christmas, Easter and Valentine’s Day.

There is ample parking and charges apply: £1.90 for one hour or £3.00per day. Pay by card or phone.

Thank you to the Park Rangers for granting permission for us to hold these walks. It provides a great opportunity for greyhound owners to support each other and for the dogs to socialise, as well are raise awareness about what great pets greyhounds make.
