Join our Greyhound Get Togethers on the FIRST SUNDAY of every month at Baggeridge Country Park. This 152 acre site provides a rich and varied landscape for our walks.
Meet by the Rangers office and toilets at 10:30 for an 11am start. We do 2 walks - a longer one of about an hour and a shorter version - so you are welcome to go as far as you wish.
Some of our gorgeous greys from the kennels often join us so it's a great opportunity to meet a greet a greyhound and find out more about them.
Come along and treat your gorgeous grey to a morning of socialisation & sniffs and yourself to the company of like-minded greyhound fanatics. See old friends and make some new ones and talk about all things greyhounds.
There is a raffle at the end of the walk and greyhound merchandise sale, and of course sausages for the dogs. There is also a tea room where you can buy refreshments.
There is ample parking and charges apply: £1.90 for one hour or £3.00per day. Pay by card or phone.
Thank you to the Park Rangers for granting permission for us to hold these walks. It provides a great opportunity for greyhound owners to support each other and for the dogs to socialise, as well are raise awareness about what great pets greyhounds make.
