Waseley Hills Greyhound Walks

Join us for another fun group Greyhound walk!

Come along and join us on the SECOND SUNDAY of each onth for our group walk at Waseley Hills Country Park.

Enjoy nature while rambling up and over the rolling hills with like-minded greyhound friends and their pooches then enjoy a drink or a well-earned snack at the Windmill Cafe. Len the "sausage man" is every dogs' best friend at the end of the walk.

Dogs from the kennels who are looking for homes are usually there so it's a great opportunity for anyone interested in meeting some homeless hounds to come along and talk to our volunteers.

Our volunteers are also there selling raffle tickets and merchandise if you need a new collar or coat etc. for your greyhound.

Stout footwear is a must as it can get muddy but there are plenty of picnic benches if you want to just come along and have a chin-wag with those who decide not to join the walk.

Thank you to the Park Rangers for granting permission for us to hold these walks. It provides a great opportunity for greyhound owners to support each other and for the dogs to socialise, as well are raise awareness about what great pets greyhounds make.

There is a large pay and display carpark - pay by card -  £3.00 flat rate

Walk Location:
