WALKING FOR KOKO, AWARENESS WALK - SUNDAY 6TH AUGUST 23

We managed to dodge the showers on Sunday to enjoy a fabulous walk at Baggeridge Country Park with handsome homed hounds and our kennel dogs. 29 gorgeous greys were in attendance, including Home Run Hounds pups Lennie, Bonnie, Windmill, Honest, Alice, Buck and of course,  Little Miss Herself - Koko💖.

All proceeds from the day's prize draw, sale of key rings, snuffle mats and donations for claw clipping & teeth cleaning (thank you Jo😍) went towards Koko's appeal. A fantastic £140 will be added to the total raised from the Just Giving appeal and cash and cheque donations that we are so very grateful to receive for this lovely little lady will hopefully get us nearer our total of £900.00.

Current Foster girl BamBam also joined us as we set off for the longer walk, led by volunteer Liz and the shorter walk, led by volunteer Angie. The hounds all loved their sausage treats and one of our brand new gazebos got it's first outing - huge thanks to Aero Greyhounds and Race with KB (Kim Billingham) for their very kind and generous sponsorship💖.

Brilliant news - Homeless Hound "Honest" was chosen as a potential "foster" dog whilst looking for a home, so we'll keep you posted on her progress.
