CACWGAS is a group that was set up to allow people who love camping and love sighthounds to share their common interests. Their Croft Farm event is the largest of the year with a super dog show, lots of doggie related stalls, the one and only greyhound cartoonist, Richard Skipworth in attendance, and best of all hundreds of sighthounds of all shapes and sizes (335 to be exact last year!), and entertainment in the marquee in the evening. This year Billy Whippet, if anyone follows him on FB, will be coming along too.
Saturday is open to day visitors so please come along for a fantastic day out.
Each year they select two sighthound charities to support and we are thrilled to announce that HRH is one of the chosen charities this year!
Our volunteers and hounds will be there all weekend and will have a stall with greyhound themed merchandise.
At 10am there will be a circular group walk around the lakes and back to the main field for the festivities.
As a charity, our goal is the health, wellbeing and happiness of ex racing Greyhounds.
