GREYHOUND OWNER Stuart Forsdike has organised the annual Aero Greyhounds Charity Golf Day and is seeking individual players and teams as well as sponsors for the event, which is raising money for the Home Run Hounds charity.
Stuart has put together a great day of golf at Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club in Worcestershire on Friday, July 24.
A decent crowd is expected and Stuart is hopeful that the day will be well supported.
He said in a recent press release: "I'm delighted to again announce our annual Aero Greyhounds Golf Day, it will feature prizes for top individuals and teams plus the usual longest drive and nearest the pin competitions.
In previous years these golf days have been well attended and we have raised lots of money in the past - hopefully we can do the same again this year.
There will be something for everyone and all abilities are welcome, breakfast before and a bbq afterwards are also included."
Home Run Hounds is not only a rehoming centre, but also works with communities in a number of different ways including support for care homes, disability groups and work experience pupils all with 'homed' or 'homeless' greyhounds playing a role.
It's wonderful all the work that Claire Butler and Tracey Parbery do and we are always keen to support them.
