Hawk is always excited to see you and easy to get ready for walks and this lucky boy recently had a couple of weekends away from the kennels with one of our lovely foster pawrents. What a wonderful dog Hawk has become. Following his most recent weekend foster this handsome boy showed what a clever dog he is remembering everything he was taught last time.
Hawk jumped into the car ready for his next adventure, this time to the beach where he charmed the other holiday makers (everyone wanted a fuss), paddled in the sea, and even enjoyed a doggy ice cream , the perfect holiday. A quick learner Hawk was happy to try an agility course proving that you can teach an old dog new tricks!
After fun packed days Hawk was happy to take long snoozes in his bed, so relaxed he was content to be left alone for short periods. Hawk is incredibly affectionate and happily enjoys cuddles from both adults and children. Like all our hounds, he’s very food motivated, but after a firm “no” he quickly understood that not all food was his.
He has quickly relaxed and proved himself to be a natural at living in a home. Hawk loves playing with toys and, although he could be a little possessive at times, it was simply because he didn’t want playtime to end.
Hawk is the perfect hound for anyone who loves good company, great adventures relaxing, or even trying something new. Hawk is so ready to find his forever home!
