Remember that all of our greyhounds are NeuteredVaccinated Microchipped and ready to meet their loving new family. Could it be you?
Hawk is still fairly new to kennel life but he’s always excited to see you and easy to get ready for walks. When out and about, he tends to hang back until he feels sure of his surroundings but this is improving.
Hawk had a trip out this week and, although he needed a bit of help getting into the car, he was happy to jump out by himself. Car travel is still quite new to him, and he didn’t settle much—standing for most of the journey, keeping a close eye on my driving!
He walks nicely on the lead and doesn’t pull. Hawk managed steps easily, however he was a little nervous around traffic and larger vehicles. Hawk had another trip out last week and again needed help getting into the car. Still very unsure he stood for the outward journey but was happy to settle after his walk. We met several dogs and he was very nervous and was understandably a bit concerned but hopefully, with more trips out he will start to relax with other breeds. He is lovely to walk and he’s a really friendly boy who just needs a few more experiences outside kennels to help build his confidence.
Can you help Hawk socialise in his new world...if so he will become your best walking buddy....come and meet him and find out.
