All About LYRIC (TULLYMURRY LYRIC)

Another lovely lady available for adoption from our Monkspath kennels is 3 year old Lyric (Tullymurry Lyric).  A very loving and playful girl, Lyric shares her kennel space with a male, so could be an only pet or would make a pawfect 2nd hound.  Like most greys, she's excited when she first meets you, but soon calms down once her lead is on and her adventures begin.

Lyric likes to love you and lets you know how happy she is to see you by jumping around for the first 5 minutes. We are working on this but for now, would suggest a home where there are older or no children - as she may accidentally knock little ones over, doing her 'dance of joy'!  And she did her dance of joy recently on an outing to Himley Hall where she gots lots of attention and soon got used to the hussle and bussle of pushchairs and bikes...she's not too keen on dinaosaurs though (thankfully only models!)  Our volunteer said she's the sweetest dog and could easily get used to the little head nudges and cuddles from her.

Lyric has also had a weekend foster with one of our volunteers where she was clean in the house, had no reaction to household noises, slept well and was fine with visiting neighbours.  She had no problem being on her own in a room or in the garden and happy to sleep as long as she knows where you are.   She was interested in food but understood the command 'no',  She was very gentle when taking treats and waited for her food bowl to be put down.

She walks well on the lead and not bothered by traffic and is brilliant with other dogs.  A little interested in squirrels but no desire to chase.   As you can see we're getting to know her better everyday, and if it's a perfect dog you're after - Lyric is your girl!
