We’re still getting to know Miller but he’s already showing us what a thoughtful and sensitive boy he is. He’s always pleased to see our volunteers, although he can be a little anxious, and he clearly looks to his people for reassurance, something that makes him all the more endearing.
Miller has recently enjoyed a trip out to Hagley Park, where he experienced lots of new sights and sounds. He travelled well in the car, even if he preferred to stand for most of the journey! He needed a little help getting in and out, but accepted this calmly.
Out and about, Miller shows interest in other dogs and can be reactive at times, but he is manageable with the right handling. He sometimes steps back when unsure, needing reassurance before moving forward, showing a thoughtful and cautious approach to new experiences. He took in the park environment well overall, and even joined us for some awareness raising alongside other greyhounds.
Miller is very affectionate and loves a cuddle, often leaning in for comfort and connection.
As we continue to take Miller out and build his confidence, we’ll keep updating his profile, but it’s clear he has lots of potential in the right home.
