Sweet Rita is currently in a foster home and is taking a little time to adapt to home life according to her foster carer - she’s found her safe spot in the corner and was reluctant to budge from it for several days.
The last few days she’s been much happier, starting to greet me in the mornings & play a little, but still won’t sleep in the bedpreferring her safe spot.
Her toilet training though is perfect so farand she mostly walks nicely but will leap if she spots a tasty looking bird
With her being so nervous initially we’re taking it very slowly.
We'll update you further once she settles in a bit more and we are clearer about what sort of home she's looking for but we'd say at this point that she needs another greyhound for confidence in a quiet, adult only household.
