All About LADY (DASHGROVE LADY)

Lady is a small, pretty girl with a big love for people. Having spent the past three months in a foster home where she quickly adapted to life as a pet, she takes household noises in her stride. Her favourite toys are a fluffy rabbit and a unicorn that are thrown around before being taken into her bed for a snooze or to watch TV - she particularly enjoys sport and nature programmes!
Lady is very welcoming and happily greets visitors to the home, both human and canine, being accepting of everyone. She can be a little enthusiastic in her greeting, but soon calms down. Although there are no children within her foster home, Lady has shown interest in them when out, even on scooters, and is happy to receive gentle fuss and attention. She always looks rather disappointed when people don't acknowledge her.  
She walks nicely on her lead showing indifference to squirrels or cats despite them sometimes getting ridiculously close. However, she does have a half-hearted attempt at chasing pigeons in the garden.   The garden is another of Lady’s happy places, where she enjoys sunbathing, having a little dig, and chasing after balls.
Lady travels well in the car, happily jumping out, though she may need a little help getting in. She enjoys the greyhound walks at Waseley Hills Country Park, where she is relaxed and sociable among other greyhounds, though less comfortable with a large crowd of people. She has coped well in a quietish café, settling nicely on her blanket.
Lady sleeps soundly through the night, has shown no signs of sleep startle, counter surfing, or destructiveness, and has been left alone for up to three hours without issue.  

Lady's foster Mum has made so much progress with her.   We would love a greyhound savvy family to carry on this amazing work, so a patient, understanding home willing to put in some extra time and guidance.  You will be rewarded for that effort many times over with lots of love and joyful moments.  She does have a tendency to freeze at times, so possibly living with another greyhound, with a calm presence could help her continue her journey.
