Meet Penny, a bright and confident girl who is already showing lots of promise. She has been out and about, visiting Tamworth town centre and taking a trip to Pets at Home and is proving to be a wonderful travel companion. While she needs a little help lifting her paws to get into the car, she travels beautifully, settling straight down for a snooze.
Penny is inquisitive and food-motivated. She loves to investigate her surroundings (sometimes checking shopping bags for treats!) and can be quite restless in new places simply because she is so interested in everything around her.
She loves a fuss and is very well-behaved with people; even in the busy store, she stood calmly when meeting children. With other dogs, Penny can be a little selective. While she is generally unbothered, she can get irritated by some dogs while ignoring others, regardless of their size - so she just knows who she likes! We are sure this will change as she adapts to life in a home rather than kennels.
Curious, affectionate, and engaging, Penny is clearly ready to embrace life in a home of her own.
