Pet Blood Bank Returns once again to Broadmarsh Kennels on Tuesday 10th November.
We look forward to welcoming the team once again.
Greyhounds are ideal dogs to donate as many have a negative blood type which is always in high demand.
We would encourage anyone with a dog that is healthy, aged between one and eight years old and weighs at least 25kg to bring their dog to our blood donation day as each single donation can provide potentially lifesaving blood, via transfusion, for up to four other dogs.
Additionally all dogs receive a health check from the PBB vet and the owners are notified if any potential issues are detected whilst blood typing is passed on to the dog own veterinary practice. So win-win all around!
