ELMO (HIGH ST ELMO)'s story:

Happily Homed Elmo – High Street Elmo

Third Time Lucky Elmo, has officially found his happily ever after with Helen and her family in Grantham!

After losing her beloved Greyhound, Ellie, Helen met our team at Crufts looking for a cat-friendly companion. We immediately though of Elmo and although she has missed seeing him there on the day, she had seen the video of his trip to Crufts and what a superstar he was on our Facebook and travelled to our Shenstone Branch to meet him. They immediately fell in love with this big cuddly boy.

Elmo’s journey to find a home hasn’t easy—he had been reserved twice before, but the resident cats weren't quite ready for a brother, and he has had to be returned through no fault of his own. However, as they say, third time lucky!

Elmo is now settling in beautifully and proving what a gentle soul he is. He and Rosie the cat are doing brilliantly. They even eat their meals together, and Elmo is such a gentleman he’ll wait patiently for Rosie to move if she’s blocking a doorway!
He’s taken on the role of "alarm clock," waking up Helen’s son for school every morning with plenty of greyhound love.

He’s already enjoying trips out and about and is a big fan of doggy ice cream
From the crowds at Crufts to the comforts of home, Elmo is finally living his best life. He even sticks his nose right up to the puppy cam to "chat" with Helen while she’s at work!

Congratulations to Helen and her family and especially to Rosie for accepting Elmo! We couldn’t be happier for this perfect match
