CACWGAS - THANK YOU SO MUCH!
CACWGAS - Thank you so much!
There really is nothing much more we can add to what Dave Landey posted today about the Croft Farm Event except a giant THANK YOU SO MUCH to Dave and all who make CACGWAS (Camping and Caravanning with Greyhound and Sighthounds) such an amazing group.
"Wow what can I say. I am sat here stunned and flabbergasted. This wonderful group has just closed its books on our 2025/26 fund raising effort at Croft Farm Waterpark 2026 . An amazing event that raised a staggering £9015 towards our charities this year and giving us a total raised as £19,342!!!!!! We will be giving £5000 to both Kim's Home for Elderly/Abused Dogs and Home Run Hounds Greyhound Charity No 1209071 and also an extra £2500 to Whittingham Kennels to help pay for their new fencing around the dog paddock. Thank you all for helping raise this fantastic amount.
And there's more!
This group is just AWESOME. Having released both the Croft Farm fundraising and the annual fund raising last night, I have recieved two anonymous donations
1. £300 just to help
2. 658 to tidy up our annual total to £20,000"
We had a wonderful time and made over £700 on our stall alone with "try before you buy" beds being very popular
But the icing on the cake was that kennel hounds Sanka and Blaze were reserved at the show and Roger has a viewing later this week by someone heading back home after attending Croft but it's still a toss up between Roger and Tilly.
Thank you to all our volunteers who gave up their weekend to come and help. It was the second outing of our new trailer. Thanks once more to Dave Lankashear for his generous donation and to Simon Yeates who helped get it on the road. It was perfect for this sort of event.
We are looking forward to Croft 2027 on Sept 24-26 with the Sunday being the GGGW - day tickets are available so save the date!
