Beautiful Bam Bam (Flyhigh Bam Bam - now Mavis), what a story !
Volunteer Sasha had fallen in love with Mavis from her Saturday mornings. Persuading her Mum to let her take Mavis home, there were already 2 dogs in the household, but the fabulous family being such devoted animal lovers, home check & introductions done - Mavis went off on long term foster.
Our long term foster dogs are supported by the charity. Food, vet costs and insurance is all covered via our fundraising and with grateful thanks to our supporters. Mavis had found her best forever home and as HRH puts hound welfare & happiness above everything else, we continued to support her.
The family recently sadly suffered the news we all dread. Their beloved Diesel had been called over the Rainbow Bridge.
Mum Anje contacted us to say they would like to officially adopt Mavis, in Diesel's memory. So paperwork complete, microchip changed, Mavis (whilst being theirs in their hearts) was now officially 'home to stay'?
Home Run Hounds will always put the dog's interests first and Mavis is such a lucky girl to have found her Happy Ever After with such wonderful people
