All About APRIL (AERO APRIL)

Adorable April (Aero April) is a sweet 4 year old black girl, looking for her forever family. She can present as nervous at first, but enjoys cuddles once she gets to know you. A petite little lady, April is currently undergoing socialisation testing and is being gradually introduced to the sights, sounds and sniffs of the big wide world.

April has recently had some foster time with our volunteers and her personality has begun to shine through.  She can be a 'cheeky monkey', a bit of a livewire and loves being with a fellow greyhound.   She gets excited for her walks and is now more relaxed in the park where she's getting to meet lots of dogs.   She's even begun to recognise people she's met before and accepts fuss from them, although a little to shy to take treats just yet.  She's been taken out further afield to experience new sights and sounds which she really enjoyed.  At home, with fellow greys, she is lively, playful and fun.

April's confidence is growing but we know she would prefer a quieter household with older or no children.  Back at kennels, she shares with Champ who has really helped April with her shyness.  We think she would make a perfect second hound, with a male, who she can continue to take confidence from, be in cahoots with and allow her playful side to fully emerge .
