Harriet is a beautiful young greyhound with a gentle, affectionate nature and a lovely zest for life. Having enjoyed foster stays and trips out with our volunteers, she's shown us time and again that she's more than ready to swap kennel life for a home of her own.

Harriet was initially a little shy when meeting new people, but her warm personality is now really shining through. Once she feels comfortable, she's incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than being close to her humans.

Her foster stay showed just how well she adapts to home life. Harriet settled beautifully indoors, happily slept downstairs, was comfortable being left for short periods, and quickly found her favourite sunny or shady spot in the garden. She enjoys travelling in the car, walks beautifully on the lead, and has lovely manners around other dogs.

She has a playful, cheeky side too. Harriet has a particular weakness for squirrels and once couldn't resist helping herself to a slice of toast during breakfast, proudly carrying it into the garden with her tail wagging! She's also discovered just how much she enjoys relaxing in the garden and making herself at home.

At just three years old, Harriet has so much to offer. Every new adventure leaves us even more convinced that she's ready to become a much-loved member of a family.
