We're just starting to get to know Harriet, and she's already showing us what a sweet and thoughtful girl she is.
When one of our volunteers went to collect her for a walk, Harriet was quiet, patient, and happy to accept a gentle chin rub while she got ready. Once out and about, she settled into her walk beautifully, taking her time to explore the world around her.
Harriet is clearly curious and enjoys investigating everything she comes across. One particular highlight of her outing was the long grass, which she seemed to absolutely love exploring. As the walk continued, it was lovely to see her confidence grow and more of her personality begin to shine through.
Although we didn't encounter any other dogs on this occasion, Harriet took everything else in her stride and seemed happy to spend time discovering her surroundings at her own pace.
It's still very early days for Harriet, and we're looking forward to learning more about her as she enjoys new experiences and adventures. What we've seen so far is a gentle, inquisitive girl with lots of potential.
