All About KATIE (HAZELHILL KATE)
We asked regular foster carers Steph and Ade to have Katie again as she is one of our longer stayers. She did so well, so we thought we'd share their feedback. It's saying something that she is one of their favourites considering they've fosterd 102 dogs!
This weekend we've had a second visit from the lovely, cuddly Katie.
She's a happy, playful, very loving girl. Loves to be wherever you are and likes to snuggle up close. She's one of our long stayers and just don't know why.
She's absolutely fantastic in the house, great company.
I think she has a proximity zone with other dogs more like a ....I've had enough of you now, go away zone !
When we took Bluey out with us on Saturday she had one time where she growled at him when he was close. After that nothing, no matter how close they were together.
She has jumped into the car once after that she decided she would prefer it if you lifted her in thanks very much
We've had 1 accident in house on the first day, nothing after that.
She's not been phased by household noises took herself off outside when hoover was on.
She's slow to walk as she has to sniff everything. No pulling. (though she would be too strong for someone with limited mobility we think).
Katie has been great out and about. Likes to greet people and have some fuss. Did well around Macarthur Glen Shopping Centre.
No reactions to other dogs noted
She's particular with food, won't eat the kibble only cleared her bowl if it was tinned meat.
She's been a pleasure to have again. Definitely one of our favourite visitors.
Because she likes a bit of personal space, we believe Katie should be an only dog in an adult household but apart from that one quirk, she is a delight.
Katie has waited far too long for a forever home, please get in touch to come and meet her.
