Meet Lugsy, a gorgeous blue boy with such notable ears!
Lugsy is new to kennels but has already been off site for a walk and a home visit, with glowing reports! This small, bouncy boy jumped into the boot, lay down and there was not a peep from him in the car.
Lugsy on the lead? Volunteers used a harness, as this lovely lad may pull a little. And he walked perfectly - slight pulls for ‘snifters’ with the lead on ‘collar only’ - back to ‘look at me walking beautifully’ with the harness set up. He had polite sniffs with a small bouncy dog and briefly watched another running off lead before walking on – what a good lad!
And house guest Lugsy? He seemed unsure, so our hosts let him enter the house in his own time. Which he did, having a drink, exploring and settling down for a well-earned rest. Happy with TV on, he wandered over for cuddles, didn’t accept treats and had no idea what to do with a ball. (Why do you throw these spheres and look at me??)
An easy guest, his lovely character will shine through with more time to settle in a home environment. If you think Lugsy may be the lad for you, do get in touch. We’d love to introduce this beautiful blue boy with his wonderful radar ears.
