Paula is new to kennels but she was lucky that two of our regular volunteers took her out for the day so we could see what she was like... let's say if you’re looking for a dog who is the perfect mix of "let's go explore" and "couch potato," Paula might just be your perfect match.

Paula is an absolute dream in the car. She hopped right into the boot and travelled beautifully, only popping her head up occasionally to take in the views.

At home she was "perfect Paula." 

• She absolutely loves people and thrives on fuss and affection
• She goes mad for treats but takes them so gently from your hand.
• She found her dog bed, flopped right down, and relaxed almost instantly.
• She loved investigating every room and wasn't phased by the TV being on at all.
• She will happily chase a ball... though she hasn't quite figured out what she's supposed to do once she catches it!

Out and About

• Paula walked right by the side of a main road and wasn't bothered by the traffic noise.
• When we hit the open fields, everything was so exciting that she was zigzagging to take it all in.
• While we didn't meet other dogs, Paula did see some people playing football. She was full enthusiasm and excitement.
