All About ALFIE (NODUFF ALPHA)

Shy guy Alfie (Noduff Alpha) is a stunning blue boy, joining us at Monkspath.  At just 2 years old, Alfie is now on the look out for his very own humans.  Whilst he is adorable to look at, with the gentlest of loving personalities, Alfie is very nervous on first introductions.

He has learnt that his new kennel and outdoor paddock are his 'safe space', though he also loves walking out with other greys nd totally relaxes in their company. So, what would be the perfect home for Alfie?  He needs a quiet and patient family - one that will allow him to explore his new surroundings in his own time (his gorgeous snoot is always going left & right).  It only took him a couple of days to decompress into our kennels.

He loves spending time with our lady volunteers (we think this may be because they are a bit smaller, with not so loud voices (?)  Alfie loves it when volunteers go and sit in his outdoor paddock and spend time with him and he has even started jumping up and down, when they approach with a lead.  Due to his shyness, we have not taken him offsite yet. The outside world has many noises and sniffs that we need to introduce Alfie to gradually.  A more confident greyhound girl in the household would definitely be an advantage for Alfie - someone to learn his petcraft from and to relax into home life with.  He really is the sweetest and most loving boy - he just needs time and patience, to blossom into the perfect pet.
