After fostering him for the weekend, volunteer Helen said, "I had the pleasure of hosting Jet for the weekend, and he truly is an absolute delight.
If you are looking for a dog who loves to be by your side, Jet is the perfect match—he’s a total "cuddle monster" who loves being right in the middle of everything you’re doing. I fell in love with him and he would make such a great companion.
What Makes Jet So Special?
He is so inquisitive and into everything. He does come with a cheeky side...he's such a thief/collector... many, many shoes, phone, remote controls, dining room mats, coasters, mop - the list goes on!
The good news? He is a perfect gentleman about it and happily gives everything back when asked. He’s likely just exploring his new world with his mouth, and with a little guidance, he’ll learn what is and isn't a toy.
Jet is already house-trained! No accidents in the house and went to the door if he needed to go out.
He also walks beautifully on a lead and is very well-behaved around other dogs on the street. He does like to keep stopping you for a lean and some fuss.
Like any young dog discovering the world, Jet has a few things he is still learning:
He’s quite the foodie! Jet is very interested in whatever you are eating or drinking (yes, he even tried to sneak a drink from my cup!).
Jet gets a little sad when you leave the room and is still learning how to be comfortable on his own (but that's par for the course for most newly homed hounds.)
