Penny absolutely loves her walks and gets so excited when it's time to leave her kennel. She waits gently and patiently while you get her ready, but the moment she's outside, she's so excited, jumping for joy with a constantly wagging tail.
During a walk around Hagley Hall Park, Penny was desperate to make friends with every dog we met and wasn't shy about letting them know! She was incredibly alert too, spotting the deer before we did. Watching her ears perk up as she excitedly observed them was a lovely moment.
To top off a wonderful adventure, Penny enjoyed her very first doggy ice cream – and she absolutely adored it! In fact, she loved her day out so much that when we arrived back at the kennels, she refused to get out of the van. Penny has really come out of her shell and would be the perfect companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle, followed by a well-earned ice cream or coffee at a dog-friendly café.
Despite her age, she's as lively and enthusiastic as a puppy and would happily spend all day exploring by your side. So, if you're looking for a best friend for long country walks, a loyal gardening companion, or simply someone to relax in the shade( with an ice cream), then Penny is the girl for you.
