We have had a wonderful few days last week taking 3 dogs over to their new homes in Belgium and Holland.
After dropping off two other hounds, Yankee and Sally, and after a night's rest,
at a wonderful dog friendly B&B, with our last girl Laci, we headed across into Holland and travelled north of Amsterdam to take her to her new home.
Laci had also been chosen online and came from our Watford Gap kennels travelling down with Sally.
Laci was the most nervous of the 3 dogs and was going to live with the families 2 existing dogs who were both very gentle and perfect to help her adapt to life at home.
After some initial greetings the 3 dogs settled down and Laci, who is now called Liffy, is happily adapting to her new life and enjoying her lovely new garden and home. She will enjoy regular walks at the local beach and apparently is a real foodie!
Again thank you to the family for their kindness and hospitality.
It’s the first time we have taken 3 dogs over and delivered them to their new families, and it won’t be the last with a further homing through the Belgium group already planned.
The dogs all travelled brilliantly on both the ferry and in the car, and behaved impeccably all were great ambassadors for the breed. And we have made some wonderful new Greyhound friends in the process.
