SLIPPY's story:
Happily homed Slippy - Beatties Slippy
This was second time lucky for Slippy as he had previously been homed and had been returned due to a change of circumstances and he needed some medical treatment before being well enough to be rehomed.
Ashleigh contacted us and asked the golden question “can you tell me about any dogs who really need to be homed?” After discussing Ashleigh and her Nana’s needs and expectations, they came to kennels with Dad, Dave, to meet some suitable candidates.
They all fell in love with Slippy who has been a firm favourite with our volunteers and went home to have a think.
Well, it didn’t take long for decision to be made and Slippy was adopted. Waiting for him at home was a cuddly penguin which he instantly found and started to play with.
We are delighted that Slippy gets a second chance at his happy ever after and we welcome his new family into our greyhound family and we look forward to hearing all about his adventures.
