Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

Handsome Laddy was instantly spotted by Jean from Chester. She was staying locally with her sister and searching for a quiet, companion after sadly losing her beloved hound, Kenny, whom she had for five wonderful years. As soon as she saw Laddy on our website, she knew he was the perfect match for her! 10 minutes after calling she arrived at the kennels and it was clear to see Jean had fallen for him straight away.
 

Retired herself, Jean was completely prepared for his arrival and took Laddy back to Chester.

He has now happily settled into his new life, pottering round the garden, playing with his toys and helping Jean with her knitting. He has been roaching and cuddling up to Jean, showing his truly affectionate side!

Jean couldn't wait the two weeks and called to say he was staying after a couple of days and his adoption was completed.

Jean is already taking proactive steps to help them both work through his nervousness when out on walks.

Her ultimate dream is for Laddy to be able to enjoy the beach near her caravan in Wales—just like her last hound did! We're keeping our fingers (and paws!) crossed that with Jean's love Laddy will soon be zooming along the sand.
