Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

Andrea Barham contacted Home Run Hounds after visiting our stand at Crick Boat Show last year. Living on a 52 foot narrowboat, she decided that the size of dog was of greatest importance, plus an ability to get on with other dogs that she would meet travelling along the waterways.

Although very nervous, Belle (Bounce Back Belle) ticked both boxes, so we arranged for her to visit the narrowboat to see if she could cope with the unique challenges of life onboard. An extension to the usual 2-week foster2adopt period was agreed.

Thanks to Andrea’s patience, Belle is gradually gaining confidence. Andrea spent some days back on ‘dry land’ this week, which was a real test for both of them. Returning to the boat, she was delighted by Belle’s first indoor zoomies. Belle feels secure in her floating home and that’s where she will be staying.
