Did you know?
At one time only noblemen were allowed to own a greyhound
Jenny and Steve Lewis were last greyhound owners 20 years ago. When their male, brindle greyhound, Tiger, passed over rainbow bridge they discovered that they were expecting, so decided to wait until the children were older before homing another dog.
Now 17 and 19, with a change in work situation for Jenny, the timing was perfect. So the family visited our Broadmarsh kennels to meet 3 potential suitors. The family were very torn, but Bonnie was chosen to go on Foster2Adopt with them.
Bonnie has settled extremely well into her new home, her only vice being shoe collecting. She also found a hedgehog in the garden and picked it up. Luckily, Bonnie was persuaded to take a treat instead. A win-win situation all round.
We are certain there are more antics to come from this delightful girl, who will be the source of much amusement we’re sure.
