Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

CARLA (SWIFT CARLA &) IZAK (FERNDALE POWER)'s story:

Happily Homed Izak & Carla - Ferndale Power & Swift Carla 

When Joanna and Phillip lost their beloved greyhound Bubba, they knew they needed another pointy nose in their home and came to kennels to meet suitable contenders. 

During the visit, they decided to adopt a pair! Izak was quickly chosen as their boy, and possible girls were tried to see who would be a good match. New girl Carla ticked theirs and Izak’s boxes so a game of kennel jigsaw was carried out to put the dogs together to see if they liked each other. 

After a week in kennels together, the duo went to one of our regular foster homes to see how they would be outside of kennel life. 

With all the signs being positive, Izak and Carla went home on our foster to adopt scheme. 
Joanna and Phillip have worked hard with Izak and Carla as homing 2 greyhounds together isn’t for the faint hearted! Regular reports have made us laugh, especially the picture where Izak got into the driving seat of the couple’s motorhome. (It was parked with no engine on!) The photo was sent with the tag line ‘Izak thinks he’s taking Miss Carla on holiday!’ 

Well done Izak and Carla for getting yourselves such a fantastic retirement where you will have many adventures in the motorhome. We look forward to hearing all about your new lives together.
