Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

CHANCER (HAVE NO CHANCE)

Read all about CHANCER (HAVE NO CHANCE)'s successful rehoming below.

CHANCER (HAVE NO CHANCE)'s story:

Malcolm Irvine registered as a volunteer with Home Run Hounds after suffering the loss of the family’s much loved greyhound, Rooney.

Malcolm and wife Oona wanted to take their time before committing to another dog. That was until Chancer worked his magic! Malcolm felt a strong connection with this particular dog, describing the feeling as ‘being chosen’.

Chancer wagged his happy tail and leaned into them both when he was collected this morning. With the surname Irvine it was fitting to change Chancer’s name to Eddie after the former Formula 1 racing driver Eddie Irvine. His Instagram profile @eddieirvineofficial reads, “Used to race F1 …..now I avoid stress" which is also true for an ex racing greyhound who has certainly earned his retirement.

We know he’ll be very much loved and are delighted that Malcolm will continue to be a regular volunteer.
