Bradley was enjoying a peaceful morning’s fishing at Wassell Grove Fisheries, when a group of our volunteers walked by. Chief went in for a lean and a fuss and soon after Brad was on the phone to his partner Paige saying, “You’ve got to come and meet this dog!”
Although Bradley and Paige didn’t need any convincing there was one other heart to win over - 17 year old whippet Bentley. Originally belonging to Brad’s grandad, Bentley would make the final decision. Thankfully the two dogs got along, so Chief went home on a two week trial to make fully certain.
Bradley and Paige have fallen head over heels in love with this affectionate boy during that time. Bentley has been teaching him how to do stairs and where to find all the really comfy spots. It sounds like he’s made himself right at home and is already auditioning for the role of ring bearer when the couple are married next year.
