Lesley and Steve originally connected with Home Run Hounds when their daughter Louise was herself considering adopting a retired racing greyhound. They helped out by scouring the website and reading the dogs’ profiles to help find the family a suitable match. It came as no surprise that beautiful brindle Condor caught everyone’s attention, but it was Lesley and Steve arranging the next viewing! Due to his sheer size, Condor was the perfect choice for Steve, who has a visual impairment. Condor soon went home on a Foster2Adopt basis but the couple returned the following week to sign the adoption paperwork. This lucky hound is already being completely spoilt with new beds, toys, a collar and a new name, Chewy, to top it off. We welcome Lesley and Steve to the Home Run Hounds family and the fabulous world of greyhound ownership. Be warned, they are addictive!
