Costa (Sharkster) - fast, streamlined and very pleasing to the eye....a bit like a Classic Car....
When Jonathon contacted us, having seen volunteer Katie's beautiful post of Costa's home visit, for more details, we had a real 'it was meant to be' moment.
Having lost his much adored pal Toby last year, Jonathon hadn't been actively looking for a new hound, but Costa's post popped up on his feed.
Jonathon would need a dog that would accompany him everywhere - especially into work - where Jonathon and his team restore classic cars.
Viewing appointment set, Costa fitted the bill perfectly and spent time with his potential new Dad. This was followed by our foster to adopt period (though all parties secretly knew this was an instant success) for Costa to settle in - and settle in he did ! It was as if he had always been there, so we were thrilled to hear that Costa was to be adopted in beautiful Toby's memory. We always say you can never replace a dog, but to give a loving home to another in their honour is a wonderful thing to do.
Costa and Jonathon are inseperable and we couldn't be happier for them
