Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

DEPUTY (NEWINN DEPUTY)'s story:

Several months ago, Melanie, Tom and their daughter Jess began the search for their very first dog. They all embraced this journey, doing their research thoroughly and asking plenty of questions along the way.

After meeting a number of dogs at several different sites, Deputy was the chosen one. They visited him often, while preparations were made at home and they waited excitedly for the half term break to arrive when they would bring him home on Foster2Adopt.

Deputy has settled in effortlessly, showing everyone he meets what a good natured, affectionate chap he is. He is a quick learner and sits by the utility room listening to the clink of every spoonful going into his bowl at mealtimes. Tom describes it as a ‘labour of love’ because Jess has willingly taken on the job of the daily meal preparation. It’s lovely to hear that the whole family are getting involved.

Deputy has already sussed out the best sunbathing spots in the garden. So we are delighted to hear that he will be staying in Cheshire for good. The family report that Deputy has been totally chilled about the whole thing, in fact it’s them who need to relax! It’s a steep learning curve for sure, but they can rest assured that Home Run Hounds are always on hand to support them every step of the way.
