Another Home Run Hounds Success Story!

Happily Homed Ernie - Ballymac Conti 

Ernie hasn’t had the smoothest introduction to retirement. He spent 6 weeks out on foster where he couldn’t settle due to living on a busy road. Then was homed for 8 months with a family who loved him very much but had to return him to kennels. 

Ian and Henrietta are seasoned greyhound owners who only home black boys. Greyhound Danny needed a new brother after being on his own for several months. They came to kennels to meet some boys and asked if there was a big black boy who really needed a home. They met 3 of our boys but Ernie’s story just got to them and after introductions  with Ernie and Danny went well, Ernie went off on foster to adopt. 
After ten days, the decision was made that Ernie was home to stay, Henrietta described him as such a gentle and loving boy. Ernie is their 7th greyhound and the only one who hasn’t got onto the sofa and is by far the tallest! 

We are so happy to see Ernie homed, be happy special boy. Thank you to Ian and Henrietta for taking a chance on him. We can see that he is going to have a wonderful life with you and Danny.
